Champions getting together for Breakfast

The Queen of Jean is proud to be part of the BNI Breakfast of Champions. The chapter was officially launched May 21st at the Conference Center located at the River Rock Hotel and Casino.

It was a morning filled with energy and enthusiasm. Members and Guests got together early in the morning to network and share breakfast while celebrating the Launch of the Chapter. BNI is a professional marketing organization that specializes in word-of-mouth referrals. While the meeting only takes 90 minutes, it is more than enough time to realize the power and opportunities that can be leveraged by its members and their networks. The meeting follows a very well thought out structure and agenda, that allows its members to efficiently conduct business, pass referrals, enjoy breakfast, catch up with one another and still be out of the meeting on time to go about a regular business day.

Inspirational Launch!

Inspirational, is definitely how I would describe the Launch of JK models in one word. The event was filled with incredible people, supporting a concept we should applaud and benefiting a very much needed cause.

The founder and owner of JK Models , Jennifer Koning, shared with the attendees the reason behind forming and opening her model agency. She had been on the modeling industry before and had gone through the ups and downs that many models have to go through. She had experience first hand the struggle of trying to keep up with the industry body requirements. She decided it was time to open her own agency where she would embrace beauty in all its shapes and forms. Her agency is determined to have models that embrace all body types, cultures and ages. After all, we come in different shapes, colors and sizes.

During the event, which took place at Blushing Boutique, there were some local products and services being auctioned. The proceeds from these sales went to benefit the Looking Glass Foundation. The Looking Glass Foundation is an organization dedicated to help those that struggle with eating disorders. The foundation offers activities such as support groups, summer camps and scholarship programs. Dolores Elliott, shared with the attendees a brief history of how the foundation came about and some highlights from the foundation and its mission.
